Funded by an ESRC Impact Accelerator Award, across 2026-2027, members of the Suicide Cultures team are running a project (Changing the Narratives) that is taking findings from Suicide Cultures, as well as other projects run by the team, to a range of audiences of policy makers, practitioners and people affected by suicide and self-harm. We will be co-designing resources to help different groups understand - and apply in practice - insights from our research about the complex relationships between self-harm, suicide and gender.
